Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Technician to support facility maintenance, fabrication, and repair operations. This position is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in craftsmanship, understands safety in high-traffic environments, and can perform a wide range of carpentry and building maintenance tasks independently and as part of a team.
Schedule & Benefits:
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Weekly Pay at $19.00/hr

- Immediate start available upon meeting all qualifications and requirements
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair wood structures, fixtures, and equipment
- Assemble stages, risers, and temporary structures for special airport events
- Perform repair and replacement of doors, frames, locks, cabinetry, and wood finishes
- Install and repair chain-link fencing to ensure secure and functional perimeter areas
- Repair modular office furniture, restroom partitions, ceilings, floors, walls, and roofs
- Monitor, inspect, and maintain park, facility, and structural wood assets for safety and integrity
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine layouts, dimensions, and materials
- Build or repair cabinets, frameworks, flooring, doors, and custom fixtures using hand and power tools
- Remove damaged or defective structural components and complete repairs or replacements
- Inspect ceiling and floor tiles, wall coverings, siding, glass, and woodwork for damage
- Ensure all facilities, equipment, and structures are safe, operational, and code-compliant
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsite
- Move, stage, and transport materials as required
- Follow all airport security protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proficient use of carpentry hand tools and power tools
- Strong skills in furnishing, finishing, and detailed carpentry work
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work in active, high-security, and high-traffic environments
- Proven experience in commercial, facilities, or structural carpentry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background screening (airport compliance required)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
- Stable, long-term facilities and maintenance work
