General Labor - City Clean- Up Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer I to assist with maintaining public facilities and private properties within the community. This position involves performing unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor including property cleanup, landscaping duties, and general maintenance tasks. 

Salary: $19.00/hr
  • Weekly Pay

  • Start ASAP if all qualifications met
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Essential Functions

  • Performs a variety of low-skilled and unskilled labor assisting with cleaning and maintaining public and/or private properties

  • Cleans city lots by removing debris and litter

  • Assists with light preservation and cleaning of city buildings

  • Loads and unloads tools and equipment onto trucks as needed

  • Cuts grass and removes litter using zero turns, mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and other lawn equipment

  • Performs landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming trees, and edging

  • Assists with painting and other general maintenance tasks as assigned

  • Lifts and moves outdoor debris and materials

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Maintains regular, reliable, and punctual attendance


Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid ID
  • General mechanical knowledge and aptitude helpful for performing manual labor tasks

  • Ability to learn to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment

  • Ability to perform physical/manual labor in outdoor environments

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
