Senior Manager/Supervisor
SuiteMate Staffing Solutions, Inc., is seeking a full-time Physician in a City/School Employee Health Center. The appointee will be an employee of a school district and will report to the Assistant Superintendent. The physician will be responsible for the day-to-day medical operations of the employee health center, supervise the medical staff, and also be required to see patients. The Physician works closely with staff, school and city administrators, employees who are members of the respective health plans, and eligible dependents.

This employer qualifies as a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Employer.

Schedule:
7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree in medicine (MD or DO)
  • Completed residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics
  • Must have a current license to practice medicine as a physician by the Texas Medical Board with no restrictions
  • Must have an unrestricted DEA license for the State of Texas
  • Must maintain current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Must attain continuing medical education credits as required by the Texas Medical Board
  • Have two or more years of practical experience with patients preferably in family medicine or internal medicine

  • The ability to handle stress such as time restraints and emotional stressors
  • The ability to appropriately delegate responsibilities to the staff
  • Appropriately respond to medical/health problems presented by patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate
  • The ability to perform minor surgical procedures
  • The ability to commission healthcare by liaising with medical professionals in the community and hospitals
  • Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all patients according to HIPPA
  • Responsible for meeting targets set by the government for specific treatments, such as child immunizations
  • Stay abreast of medical developments, new drugs, treatments, modalities, and medications
  • Ensuring each patient is given the "standard of care" with a high level of quality
